JAKARTA, June 16 -- China assured a final berth in men's doubles of Indonesia Open super series badminton championship after its two pairs qualified from quarterfinals on Friday, and the two will meet each other in semifinals.

The non-seeded Liu Cheng/Zhang Nan made it to the semifinals after stopping No. 6 players from Japan Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda in two games lasted in 46 minutes with equal scores of 21-15.

Meanwhile in another quarterfinal match, No. 3 China's players Li Jinhui/Liu Yuchen trashed their Chinese Taipei contenders Lee Jhe Huei/Lee Yang 21-12, 21-13.
