She's been friends with Taylor Swift for over 12 years.

And Selena Gomez revealed how the two pop superstars met and eventually became great buddies during an interview with Britain's KISS FM on Tuesday.

'We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! ' the 25-year-old entertainer stated regarding their brief flings with Nick and Joe.

'It was amazing, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots,' she continued.

'And I was definitely up-and-coming , and we just clicked.

'It was the best thing we got out of those relationships,' she quipped.

Selena was quick to add that they are all on good terms even thought the romantic relationships didn't work out.

'They’re lovely, by the way. We’re all friends now. We were young, you know,' she stated.

Selena met Nick during their stints as Disney Channel stars and had a brief fling. Taylor and Joe also had a short-lived love affair.

Now Selena is reportedly back with her ex Justin Beiber, while Taylor is enjoying her love life with British actor Joe Alwyn.

And when asked if Selena would do a collaboration with Taylor , she answered: 'Absolutely. She has always been there for me.'
