南非好闺蜜：为鼓励患癌好友集体剃光头

In a touching photo series, a group of women shaved their heads in support of a friend diagnosed with breast cancer.

South African portrait photographer Albert Bredenhann was first contacted by one of Gerdi McKenna's friends to do a photo shoot in February 2017. McKenna was diagnosed with breast cancer several months prior, according to a Vimeo video posted by Bredenhann.

2017年2月，格蒂-麦肯纳的一位朋友联系南非摄影师艾伯特-博登汉，想邀请他帮忙拍组照片。根据艾伯特后来上传到Vimeo网站的视频，麦肯纳几个月前被诊断患有乳腺癌。

Bredenhann said yes to the project -- then called each woman involved individually to ask if they would shave their heads in support of McKenna for the photos, PetaPixel reports.

Bredenhann's video, set to Meatloaf's 'I Would Do Anything for Love,' shows McKenna's friends wearing pink clothing in support of her on the day of their drastic transformations.

'My heart is full and I am doing it for my sister,' one woman says.

The women smile and celebrate as they shave their hair at the same hair salon before meeting McKenna. Their hair was donated to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), PetaPixel reports.

McKenna is later seen in the video walking in to a surprise party arranged by her loved ones, shocked and overcome by their transformations.

'I learned one thing this morning and that is that hair is but a small part of you,' one friend says in the video.
