美国退休律师后背纹世界地图 记录旅行经历

While some choose to keep a diary or write a blog, retiree Bill Passman has found a novel way to ensure his travelling adventures remain a permanent fixture in his life.

For the 59-year-old has opted to keep track of his globe-trotting exploits by tattooing a map of the world on his back and then colouring in the countries as he goes along.

Mr Passman caught the travel bug after he got his first passport in 2006 aged 51 - and decided to record his experiences on his own body.

2010, the former lawyer quit his job and and got a map of the world inked across his back - and vowed to spend nine months of the year seeing the world.

As he visits each new country, he has a tattoo artist fill in the border outline - and hopes to complete the map one day.
