印度少男因被取消关注将女生毁容

A teen boy upset with a female classmate for unfriending him on Facebook reportedly threw a pot of boiling water in the girl's face after holding both her and her mother hostage inside their own home.

据报道，一个男孩因同班女同学取消自己的Facebook好友关注恼羞成怒，潜入女孩家中不让女孩和女孩的母亲出屋，并将一壶热水泼在女生脸上。

In a statement to police, the unnamed victim, 15, said the suspect came to her house in Muzaffarpur, India, allegedly in search of his lost ID card.

受害者15岁，家住印度的穆扎夫法尔普尔。在对警察的陈述中，受害者说嫌疑人来到自己家中，谎称前来寻找自己丢失的身份证件。

The girl told authorities that her father, a teacher, had been tutoring the suspect , and he was a regular visitor at their house.

女孩告诉警方，自己的父亲是一位老师，曾经教过这个男孩。并且男孩是她们家的常客。

"I accepted his (Facebook) friend request a year ago because I found him decent then," she said in her statement. "But of late he had become abusive and so I 'unfriended' him last week."

“一年前我接受了他的Facebook好友请求，因为那时我觉得他人很好。”女孩说，“但是后来我发现他有虐待倾向，所以我上星期在好友列表中取消了他。”

The suspect arrived at the family's home last Wednesday, and proceeded to lock the girl and her mother in a room.

男孩上周三来到女孩的家里，继而把女孩和女孩的母亲锁在一个房间里。

He then boiled a pot of water in the kitchen, and poured its contents on the girl's face, causing her to sustain severe burns on her right cheek and neck.

接下来他在厨房烧了一壶开水，然后把开水泼在女孩脸上。女孩右颊和脖子严重烫伤。

The suspect, since identified by police as Yudishsthir Yadav, quickly fled the residence. His whereabouts remain unknown.

警方查明肇事男孩的名字叫Yudishsthir Yadav，他很快从住处逃跑了。目前下落不明。

With Facebook steadily becoming the exclusive means of communication among teens in India, tragic news stories involving young Indian Facebook users are similarly on the rise.

In October of last year, the Indo-Asian News Service reported that a 17-year-old female from Parbhani committed suicide after her parents banned her from the social network.

"Is Facebook so bad?" the teen wrote in her suicide note. "I cannot stay in a home with such restrictions as I can't live without Facebook."
