凯特王妃获评2011年英国女孩偶像

Kate Middleton has been voted this year's top beauty icon ahead of her sister Pippa, Cheryl Cole, Rihanna and Emma Watson.

The Duchess of Cambridge, whose every outfit comes under close scrutiny ever since she married Prince William, came number one in the Superdrug poll.

Second was her sister Pippa, who shot to fame after slinking down the aisle at the royal wedding in a Sarah Burton dress, while former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole came third.

Raunchy pop diva Rihanna was voted fourth while Holly Willoughby ranked fifth.

Tulisa Contostavlos, who replaced Cheryl in The X Factor, lagged behind the Geordie beauty in sixth place.

Sara Wolverson, Superdrug Director of beauty, said that the poll showed that brunettes were charging ahead in the style stakes.

She said: 'What is fascinating is that four of the five celebrity women to appear in the top five are brunettes, which would indicate that while blondes may have more fun, brunettes are seen to be more beautiful.

'Everyone in the list has a distinct look, whether it's natural beauty, full octane glamour or a love of beauty trend-hopping.'

不修边幅的流行音乐公主蕾哈娜排名第四，第五名是（“今早”节目主持人）荷莉•魏洛比。

在《X达人秀》中取代谢丽尔的图丽莎•康托斯塔夫洛斯排在第六，落后于有Geordie口音的谢丽尔。

巨能连锁药业的美容主管萨拉·沃尔弗森说，调查中发现，棕色头发被视为是最美丽的。

她说：“有趣的是，在美女偶像前5名中，有4人都有棕色头发。这可能暗示，金发的人更快乐，而棕色头发的人更美丽。”

“榜单中的所有人都独具特色，不管是自然美，极具魅力，还是引领了美丽潮流。”
