被绑架过的孩子学会了信任

To Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region now. As previously reported, local authorities have saved a large number of children that had been kidnapped and sent across the country to steal or beg on the streets. We now head to a rescue center caring for those with no parents, trying to give them back their childhood.

现在前往新疆维吾尔自治区。正如之前报道的，当地政府已经拯救了许多被绑架然后送往全国各地偷窃或到街上乞讨的小孩。我们现在前往一个照顾那些无父无母的小孩的救助中心，试着找回他们的童年。

From begging on the streets of China’s major cities to this rescue center in Urumqi. It’s been a far too long journey for these young children, yet today they are happy and have a future.

从在中国大城市的街头乞讨到乌鲁木齐这个救助中心。对这些年轻的孩子来说，这是一段太长的旅程，但是今天，他们是幸福的、有未来的。

It’s hard to imagine they were kidnapped and forced by criminal gangs to stealing and beg.

Rescued child said, "The aunty told me not to be afraid and not to worry. Here I can play and eat what I want."

获救小孩称：“阿姨告诉我不要害怕，不要担心。在这里我可以玩，可以吃我想吃的东西。”

Zhao Xiaojiang and Zhu Lilan are only five-years old. They are the youngest in this center and haven’t yet started school. They’ve been here for almost a year, and have come to trust and care for those now watching over them.

Zhao Xiaojiang和Zhu Lilan只有五岁大。他们是这个中心里面年纪最小的，还没有开始上学。他们在这里已经快一年了，他们信任并关心那些照顾他们的人。

Chao Xia, Care-Taker of Urumqi Child Rescue Center, said, "I take good care of their daily life with all my heart, so they regard me as their mother."

乌鲁木齐儿童救助中心管理员Chao Xia表示：“我全心全意照顾他们的日常生活，所以他们把我当成妈妈。”

The center has also enrolled the older children in school and the government is setting up an organization to provide professional training to those over 16.

中心也接收大一点的、在上学的小孩，政府成立了一个组织，为那些16岁以上的孩子提供专业训练。

Sun Haiyu, Xinjiang Aid Administration, said, "We are now trying to attract social workers and psychologists to help the children in the center. We hope they receive a good education and grow up healthily."

新疆救助部门的Sun Haiyu表示：“现在我们正设法吸引社工和心理学家来帮助中心的孩子。我们希望他们能接收好的教育，健康成长。”

Instead of mounting a short-term campaign, the government says it’s trying to provide sustainable efforts to help these young victims. For now, these efforts appear to already be paying off, with children happy, safe, and cared-for.
