　　The Student Union of our school decides to invite an international student to work as an English Study Advisor next term. The main responsibilities of the advisor include helping students to practice their oral English. Answering their questions, and helping organize activities such as singing English songs, English evenings, or lectures on interesting topics.

　　The applicant should be a native speaker of English. Fluency in Chinese is preferred. The advisor is expected to work 4 hours per week.

　　Forty-nine years ago, Chairman Mao called on us to learn from Comrade Lei Feng. To mark the occasion, we organized an activity at a nearby bus station today.

　　At 8 o'clock in the mowing, we arrived at the 712 bus station, where we were warmly welcomed by the drivers and conductors.

　　Then we broke up into several groups. Some of us taught some drivers and conductors English, while others cleaned buses. Still others directed traffic at the crossroads near the bus station and helped the elderly cross the street.

　　Staff members of the bus station and our classmates then took part in a general knowledge quiz on the traffic safety in the fternoon, which was great fun for both sides. Around four o'clock, we said goodbye to one another, and felt very happy on the way home.

　　Today's activity has taught us the new meaning of the spirit of Lei Feng: sharing with others what you have---your time, energy, or knowledge--makes you feel warm in your heart. It makes a difference in how I feel about myself

　　交代时间地点与相关人物的句型：sb．was doing sth．when sth．／sb．did sth;

　　时间＋was memorable because sb. did sth.: This particular day began at ＋时间点＋in the morning / afternoon / evening in＋地点

　　中心段：交待细节，注重解决有关“how”的问题。交待细节时应注意过多不必要的细节会冲淡文章的主题口因此，在细节的选择上应注意选择与主题密切相关的内容，从而深化文章主题。

　　推动情节发展常用表达：then, suddenly, immediately, no sooner...than..., hardly/scarcely...when..., while, when, as, not until... 等.

　　结尾段：介绍故事的结局或谈自己的感想，可适当发表一点议论：

　　表结局常用表达：At last / Finally, ...; However, ... Luckily / Fortunately, ... ; To one's surprise, ...

　　表感想常用表达：Personally, I think that...; I learn from the story that...: I think that this unforgettable and unusual experience will be fresh on my mind forever.
