The flourish of the virtual world has exerted great influence on the way people live, so much so that an increasing number of individuals contend that real-life communication is being virtually replaced by texts and images.

It is pleasantly acknowledged that people can easily find their positions in the virtual world and communication there is quite convenient between families and friends. Even people from different sides of the globe can share pictures, feelings and thoughts through various types of apps on the phone, thus building a long-distance connection.

However, when people spend more and more time far from reality, they will find it hard to draw a distinction between the virtual world and the real one. Statistics show that over 70 percent of face-to-face communication consists of facial expressions and body language, which is why people should stick to real-life communication when they have the chance.

In brief, the virtual world acts as an appropriate platform where people can always stay in touch however long the distance is, but a wise man should always know when to get offline.
