　　28. due to ， because of，thanks to ，owing to，on account of 这些短语都有因为、由于之意。

　　due to：由于、因为、因造成它所指的原因直接造成了句中所说的后果;除了作状语和定语之外，还可在be动词之后作表语，这一点与其他几个短语不同。

　　Due to limitations on space, many topics of actual substance have been left out. 因篇幅所限，有很多实质性的课题都被省略了。

　　because of：由于、幸亏多表示正面的、好的原因或缘由。
