　　难句类型：复杂修饰、倒装

　　解释：前面的it是形式主语，主语真正的内容在不定式中。不定式中的大规模倒装，是这个句子读不懂的主要原因：infer的宾语是what从句，而infer和从句之间被以from为首的作状语的介词结构所分隔。正常语序应该是：to infer what manufactures and servicing trades thought their customers wanted from the goods and services actually produced.后面的分句也不好读：主语很长，而且句末的宾语precise picture后面的修饰成分of who wanted what也是比较少见的。
