1.单句阅读法。针对BEC阅读题单句长，句子少的特点，通常以单句为一单位，对单句进行主谓宾成分划分，其余修饰成分剔除，这样一个句子很容易就知道其意思，做题只要看主干，就不会因为句太长而心慌了。
2.句间关系判断法。针对中高级第二道阅读题，首先运用方法一了解句意，然后根据空缺处前后两句，判断句与句之间关系很重要，主要包括承接，总分，转折，因果四大关系，再从备选中找出符合关系的句子。
承接关系：空格前后的句子基本属于同一主题。
总分关系：空格前后的句子以例子形式呈现
转折关系：空格前后的句子在含义上发生转折，提示词有 but/yet/however/unlike/rather than/no but/on the contrary/in contrast with/anything but
因果关系：提示词有because/as/since/in that so/therefore/thus/hence/consequently/result/cause/pose/lead to/
