CHICAGO, Sept. 7 -- One man was fatally shot and two others were injured in a drive-by shooting on Saturday morning in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood.
Local media quoted the police as saying that the three men were in their vehicle in the 3900 block of West 31st Street on the Southwest Side of Chicago when someone shot at them from another vehicle.
The 46-year-old driver was shot twice in the face and later died at the hospital.
His two passengers, a 26-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, were sent to the same hospital. The 26-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot five times in the chest. The 38-year-old man was shot twice in the chest and has been stabilized.
By far, no one has been in custody. Details about the shooting are subject to further investigation, according to the police.
