　　As everyone sees , talent shows are bringing great influence on college students . Above all , these activities enrich students after-class life and provide a good stage for students to show themselves . Also , by attending these activities , college students can improve their abilities in social cimmunication . However , talent shows have brought some negative effects . For instance , most activities have monotonous form and lack creativity , which influence to some degree the whole culture atmosphere on campus .

　　Form my point of view , college students need cultural and amusement activities like talent shows , but the overall quality of these activities should be improved . The activity organizers should increase the activity feature and take full account . With the improvement in quality , I believe , talent shows will go in playing an important role in college students life .

　　A Quarrel in the Dormitory

　　Weeks ago , I witnessed a quarrel between my two roommates . It shocked me that two good friends fell out just for a very trifling matter .

　　I was in the morning at a weekend , when I was washing my face in the bathroom . Suddenly I heard Xu Lan and Wu Xin shouting at each other . I hurried to come out to see what happened . It turned out the noise of Wu Xins closing the door waked Xu Lan . Xu Lan thought Wu Xin deliberately closed the door heavily . Wu Xin didnt admit her fault . So they had a bitter quarrel . Though later they stopped quarreling under our persuasion , neither of them would like to apologize .

　　Such a quarrel leaves me to think a lot about dormitory harmony . If either Xu Lan or Wu Xin can be a littel tolerant or take a better way to express herself , this quarrel , I think , can be avoided easily . It is no doubt that a harmonious dormitory life benefits all the members , but it meeds our common efforts to build it .

　　From my point of view , facing rumors , one should stand up bravely to defend himself rather than say nothing to them . The following reasons can support my argument . First , it is your explanation that helps others leam the truth . Second , rumors often go round very quickly , and your silence will foster its further spread .

　　There are many reasons accounting for the great change . Firstly , the tough competition in the job market pressure on the job market , which stimulates many students to turn to further education . Secondly , many students with equivalent education background to college graduates are allowed to apply for postgraduate study . Finally , the society has a greater demand for the postgraduates with the economic development .

　　As far as I am concerned , dollege students should take full account before deciding to further their education . For one thing , postgraduate study does not neccessarily ensure us a bright future . For another , its tough process to prepare for the exam for postgraduate study and not everyone can stick it out .
