Miss Goat : Hello ! ….

Mr. Giraffe : Hello ! … . It’s a fine day today , let’s go to the park , OK ?

Miss Goat : Good idea!

山羊和长颈鹿边说边来到了公园围墙外，茂密的枝叶伸出了墙外。

Mr. Giraffe : I’m 310 cm tall . How tall are you ?

Miss Goat : I’m 110 cm tall .

Mr. Giraffe(非常得意): Wow , fresh leaves ! You see , I’m 200 cm taller than you . I can get the leaves .

Miss Goat : Me , too . …. ( 山羊不服气，跳起来去吃树叶，可怎么也够不着。)

Mr. Giraffe(更加得意): Ha, ha . You can’t .

他俩接着往前走，山羊看见围墙上有一个小洞，就钻进去吃又绿又嫩的青草。

Miss Goat(很神气) : Wow，beautiful grass! I’m 200 cm shorter than you . I can eat the grass . But you can’t .

Mr. Giraffe ：Me，too! (可长颈鹿怎么也进不去。)

Miss Goat(更神气)：Ha, ha . You can’t .

Mr. Giraffe : I’m 200 cm taller than you .I can get the leaves . I’m cool .

Miss Goat : I’m 200 cm shorter than you . I can eat the grass . I’m cool .

Mr. Giraffe : I’m 200 cm taller than you. I’m cool .

Miss Goat : I’m 200 cm shorter than you. I’m cool . ….

他俩争得面红耳赤，找大象公公评理。

Grandpa Elephant : Miss Goat is 200 cm shorter than Mr. Giraffe. You can eat the grass. Mr. Giraffe is 200 cm taller than Miss Goat . You can get the leaves . Every dog has its day . You are both cool.

山羊和长颈鹿听了觉得很惭愧, 互相交换了青草和树叶。
