　　一、该从句可由关系代词引导：who(置代人，作主语)，whom(置代人，作宾语)，whose(置代人，作定语);which(置代物);that(置代人或物)。

　　Here is the man (whom) youve been looking for.

　　这就是你一直在找的人。

　　He is the man (that) you can safely depend on.

　　他是一个你能放心信赖的人。

　　Do you know the man (that) she was talking to?

　　Do you know the man to whom she was talking?

　　和她谈话的那个人你认识吗?

　　The train which (that) has just left is for Sian.

　　刚开的那列火车是开往西安的。

　　This is the question (which或that) weve had so much discussion about.

　　This is the question about which weve had so much discussion.

　　这就是我们讨论得那么多的问题。

　　(Is there)Anything (that) I can do for you?

　　有什么事(要我做)吗?

　　This is the largest factory (that) I have ever seen.

　　这是我所见过的最大的一家工厂。

　　This was the first thing (that) I did this morning.

　　这是今天上午我做的第一件事情。

　　二、该从句还可由关系副词引导：when(时间)，where(地点)，why(原因)

　　I shall never forget the days (when) we have been working together.

　　我将永远也不会忘记我们在一起工作的日子。

　　I know of a place (where) we can swim.

　　我知道一个可以游泳的地方。

　　That is the reason (why) I did it.

　　这就是我这样做的原因。

　　三、关系代词与关系副词替代问题。

　　有时关系代词可与关系副词替代：

　　Did you remember the years when (=in which) we had been working together?

　　你还记得我们曾在一起工作过的岁月吗?

　　This was the room where (=in which) I studied yesterday.

　　这就是我昨天学习的房间。

　　有时关系代词不能与关系副词替换：

　　This is the place (where) we met yesterday.

　　这是我们昨天碰头的地方。

　　This is the place (which) Ive long wanted to visit.

　　这是我长期以来想去的地方。
