Some people say that it is the responsibility for the individuals to save money for their own care when they retire. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

一些人说个人应负责为退休后生活存钱。你在何种程度上同意或者反对?
抛砖：
养老是关系每个人生活的社会问题，在政府不富裕的情况下，让每个人都能体面养老是不现实的。即使政府可以负责每个人的养老，也只能满足基本生活需求，如果对退休生活要求比较高，还是要考虑自己储蓄，所以个人要为自己的养老负起责任，年轻时就要有意识的储蓄或者购买养老保险。
但养老完全由个人负责也不现实。低收入人群可能一辈子都无法储蓄够养老的费用，遇到意外的残疾人，也无法再有足够的积蓄养老，另外还有人无法控制自己的冲动消费，不会为明天考虑，所以政府应考虑为大多数国民上强制的养老保险。
养老是民生问题，政府必须扮演好自己的角色，但个人也应为自己的养老负起责任。
