　　Some people say no news is good news.

　　But like it or not, everyday theres so many things going on,

　　providing people so much topics to talk about.

　　Some news are entertaining, others shocking.

　　An interesting news that happened recently is a sports news.

　　And I think everybody knows it.

　　First of all, it happened during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

　　And it involved the former Olympic Gold Medalist, Liuxiang in the 110 meter hurdle race.

　　The expectation for that race was unbelievably high, and all over China, people were waiting to see him run.

　　But to our great surprise, he didnt run.

　　He walked away in pain instead.

　　Everybody in that arena and in front of the TV at home was dumb-founded.

　　And many people was so disappointed with him that they couldnt handle the news that Liu Xiang just gave up.

　　They begun to attack him and criticize him.

　　Its not easy being a famous person I guess.

　　I think this particular piece of news made me realize the importance of perseverance and also the significance of knowing yourself and being responsible for your own health. I think everybody should back off, give him enough time to recover so that he can once again represent the Chinese sporting spirit and win many more prizes and honor for his home country again. This news once again showed me the great strength Liu Xiang has and confirmed my belief that hes my role model.
