A photograph of German Chancellor Angela Merkelchatting with US President Barack Obama has goneviral.

Merkel was pictured with her arms outstretched. And the image immediately drew comparisonswith Julie Andrews' character in 1965 film "The Sound of Music".

Twitter pranksters jumped on the opportunity to mock the world leaders, using thephotograph as a canvas on which to place unrelated movie characters and incongruous props.

They took advantage of the Merkel's stern expression and Obama's incredibly relaxed pose,making the pair look as characters in the film.
