The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in India isoffering people a rupee for a pee in public toilets toprevent them from defecating on footpaths andposing a major public health risk.

印度艾哈迈达巴德市政当局规定，公民每到公厕撒尿一次，就可得到1卢比的奖励，意在防止人们在路边随处排便，造成严重的公共健康隐患。

The scheme will be piloted in 67 public toilets where officials will distribute money outside.

该方案将率先在67个公厕试行，现场会有官员在公厕外发钱

If successful, it will be implemented across all 300 public toilets in the city.

这项政策一旦试行成功，将在该市所有300个公厕全面推行。
