Former world No 2 tennis star Li Na has given birthto her first child, nine months after announcing herretirement from the professional game.

6月3日凌晨2时25分，世界排名第二的前网球明星李娜的第一个孩子出生。

The 33-year-old, who was forced to quit professional tennis with a chronic knee injury,announced her news on Twitter via her management company IMG Tennis. The account posteda picture of Li Na, alongside her husband Dennis and newborn baby Alisa, born at 2.25am onJune 3.

现年33岁的李娜通过其经纪公司IMG网球部在推特上发布了喜讯，还晒出了自己与丈夫姜山、刚出生的女儿艾丽莎的全家福。9个月前，李娜因慢性膝关节损伤宣布退役，不得不结束网球职业生涯。

Li Na also released the news early Wednesday morning on her Weibo account, and posted aphoto of her daughter's foot.

6月3日清晨，李娜也在新浪微博上公布消息，并晒出女儿的小脚印。
