观察日记——蚂蚁最爱吃啥

今天，我做了一个科学小实验，观察蚂蚁最爱吃啥？

我把苹果核、白糖、食盐、死了的昆虫、白米饭放在一块空地的中央，然后蹲在旁边观看。15分钟过去了，半个小时过去了，一个小时过去了，“诱饵”上仍然没有一个“侦察兵”过来。我一气之下，把经过附近的蚂蚁都抓来放在“诱饵”上，可是它们却飞也似地逃走了。真失望！

I put the apple kernel, sugar, salt, dead insects and white rice in the center of a clearing, and then squatted beside to watch. 15 minutes later, half an hour later, and an hour later, there is still no scout on the decoy. In a fit of rage, I caught all the ants passing by and put them on the bait, but they flew away. What a disappointment!

我静下心来仔细分析原因：“诱饵”之所以“无人问津”，极有可能是离蚁窝太远。于是，我把“诱饵”移到蚁窝附近。没过多久，蚂蚁就成群结对地爬过来了。它们忙着搬食物，但蚁群里也有自私自利的家伙。它们不搬食物，只知道吃东西，而且玩命地吃着，有一只还撑死了呢！说实话，我也不知道它是怎么死的，只是猜测啦。

I calmed down to analyze the reason carefully: the reason why "lures" are "ignored" is probably that they are too far away from the ant colony. So I moved the bait to the nest. It wasn't long before the ants came in groups. They were busy moving food, but there were selfish people in the colony. They don't carry food, they only know how to eat, and they eat with all their lives. One of them is still dead! To be honest, I don't know how it died, just guess.

然而，白糖全部被搬完、吃完了，其他“诱饵”仍然“无人问津”。所以，蚂蚁最爱吃糖。

However, all the sugar has been moved and eaten, and other "lures" are still "ignored". So, ants like sugar best.
