感悟贫困生活

大年初六，爸爸妈妈带我到白藤头的许伯伯家拜年，说让我到农村体验、感悟贫困生活。

On the sixth day of the lunar new year, my parents took me to Uncle Xu's home in baitengtou to pay a new year's Eve, saying that I could experience and understand the poverty life in the countryside.

许伯伯家搭在一个菜地旁边，周围种了许多玉米，房子是用木头和树皮搭成的。进了门口，只见室内地板是连水泥都没有铺的硬泥地。

Uncle Xu's house is built next to a vegetable field. There are many kinds of corn around. The house is made of wood and bark. When I entered the door, I saw that the indoor floor was a hard mud floor that had not even been paved with cement.

主人热情地招呼我们围坐在由两块木板搭成的长凳子上，因为天冷，用炭火来取暖。然后许伯伯就拿着把小刀去割玉米，说要煮给我们吃，玉米收回来了，许伯伯又到房子四周捡了几根竹子和木柴来烧火，炉灶是用几块砖头搭成的。

The host warmly invited us to sit on a bench made of two wooden boards, because it was cold and warm with charcoal fire. Then Uncle Xu took a knife to cut corn and said he would cook it for us to eat. The corn was collected. Uncle Xu went around the house and picked up some bamboo and wood to burn the fire. The stove was made of several bricks.

天渐渐地黑了，吃完玉米，主人要留我们在他家吃饭，我们担心那里没有照明，所以提早告辞了。

It was getting dark. After eating the corn, the host wanted to leave us to eat at his house. We were afraid that there was no lighting there, so we left early.

回到自己的家后，想想许伯伯家的环境，这次使我体验一次真正的贫困生活，令我感悟许多！所以我要好好珍惜，努力学习。

When I come back to my home, I think about the environment of Uncle Xu's family. This time, I experience a real life of poverty, which makes me feel a lot! So I want to cherish and study hard.
