夏天，世界像火炉一样的热，火辣辣的太阳当头照，而我家的池塘边却凉凉的。

In summer, the world is as hot as a stove, the hot sun is shining, but my pond is cool.

里有一大片一大片的荷花，荷叶碧绿碧绿的真惹人爱，一大朵一大朵的荷花立在荷叶间，有粉的，有白的，有粉白相间的，就如一个个亭亭玉立的小姑娘。

There is a large area of lotus in it. The lotus leaves are so green and lovely. There are big and big lotus flowers among the lotus leaves. There are pink ones, white ones and pink and white ones. They are just like little girls.

蜻蜓在荷叶间飞上飞下，犹如我们放飞的风筝，一会儿飞到东，一会儿飞到西，一会儿飞到池塘边的大树下呱呱呱。。。我仿佛听见一只青蛙在说我放得风筝好高啊!，另一只在说我放的快掉下来了!，也有的说我放的好低啊!。。。。。。

Dragonflies fly up and down among lotus leaves, just like kites we fly. They fly to the East, the West and the big trees near the pond... I seem to hear one frog saying that I can fly a kite so high! The other one is saying that I can fly a kite so fast that it will fall down! Some also say that I can fly a kite so low!......
