2006年3月19日星期天晴

今天，我和爸爸妈妈去动物园了。我喜色的动物很多，可是我最喜欢的动物是猴子。

Today, my parents and I went to the zoo. I like many animals, but my favorite animal is monkey.

我们来到猴山，听对面的导游说：“猴子里面有猴王，猴王的尾巴一直是翘着的，而且老在自己的领地上转来转去，看看有没有猴子打架，要有猴子打架，猴王就把它们吓跑。”

We came to monkey mountain and listened to the guide on the opposite side saying: "there are monkey kings in monkeys. The monkey king's tail is always cocked, and he always turns around in his own territory to see if there is a monkey fight. If there is a monkey fight, the monkey king will scare them away."

我找到猴王了，觉得猴王跟其它猴子差不多，只不过比其它猴子大一点儿，尾巴是翘着的。我听说，要当猴王，需要竞争上岗，要过五关斩六将，战胜所有的猴子，包括老猴王。这使我了解了猴王。

I found Monkey King. I think Monkey King is similar to other monkeys, only a little bigger than other monkeys. His tail is cocked. I've heard that to be the monkey king, we need to compete for posts, cut off six generals after five passes, and defeat all monkeys, including the old monkey king. This made me understand Monkey King.
