失败是成功之母

这个学期我考试考得很差。特别是数学。

I did very poorly in the exam this term. Especially mathematics.

回想起考试之前我那股开心，真是后悔。

It's a pity to think back to my happiness before the exam.

语文考完后，我自信地想这次题目那么简单，数学和英语肯定拿100分。

After the Chinese test, I confidently think that the topic is so simple, and I will definitely get 100 points in math and English.

可当我听到我语文考到97分，我还挺高兴的，我又听到英语是95.5分，我就有点不开心，虽然95分以上，但我平时测验通常都能拿到100分，数学也是。但当我听到数学考到89分后，好像被人迎面打了一下，有一种说不出的感觉，心里又很痛苦。我也不知道怎样面对这个事实。回到家又被妈妈大骂一顿，我也大哭一场，我想；这次数。英考得那么差，都是基础不扎实，粗心大意，没有认真检查。我下次一定要考好。

But when I heard that my Chinese score was 97, I was very happy. I also heard that my English score was 95.5, so I was a little unhappy. Although it was above 95, I usually got 100 points in the test. So was mathematics. But when I heard that I got 89 points in the math test, it seemed that I was hit head-on. There was a feeling that I couldn't speak out, and my heart was very painful. I don't know how to face the fact. When I got home, my mother scolded me, and I cried a lot, I thought. The poor performance of the English examination is due to the lack of solid foundation, carelessness and careful examination. I must do well next time.

失败是成功之母，这次考试我得到了很大的教训，所以以后上课要认真记着老师说得每一句话，提问题，做好笔记，平时多做课外作业，多看书，遇到不会的题，应借用学习用具，如果帮不上忙，就主动问同学、老师、家长，把题目弄懂。

Failure is the mother of success. I have learned a lot in this exam. So I will remember every sentence the teacher said, ask questions, take notes, do more homework and read more books in class. If I can't help, I will ask my classmates, teachers and parents to understand the questions.
