夏天的凤凰广场

星期五的晚上，我和妈妈出来散步。我说：“妈妈，咱们去凤凰广场的荷花池看看吧！”妈妈说：“可以。”

On Friday night, my mother and I went out for a walk. I said, "Mom, let's go to the lotus pond in Phoenix Square." Mom said, "yes."

我们很快就来到了池塘边。我看见睡莲在慢慢的合拢，我知道太阳高高升起的时候，睡莲就会慢慢的张开的，像一把把撑开的雨伞，又像一个个碧绿的大玉盘。桥下面有喷泉，荷叶下面还会有许多藕，藕白白的，胖胖的，像个小娃娃。

We soon came to the pond. I saw the water lilies closing slowly. I knew that when the sun was high and rising, the water lilies would open slowly, like an umbrella, like a big green jade plate. There are fountains under the bridge and many lotus roots under the lotus leaves. The lotus roots are white, fat and like a little doll.

夏天的广场真美呀！
