On Saturday night, my sister and I staged a "lead the snake out of the hole vs wait for the rabbit" fight. "Lead the snake out of the hole vs wait for the rabbit" seems a bit out of touch, right? Do you know why I use these two idioms to describe this battle? In fact, I am a snake, and my sister happens to be a rabbit, so our family often has a "snake rabbit war.".
After dinner, the snake and the rabbit were busy, and they got tangled up again. Suddenly, the rabbit took the initiative to leave the battlefield and ran out of the room. My "cunning" little snake wanted to rush out without hesitation, but on second thought, my elder sister must be engaging in the old tactics of "leading the snake out of the hole". So, my heart a plan, rather than rushed out to be beaten, it is better to hide "waiting for the rabbit.". Just do what I say. I have my usual weapon in my hand, the pillow, and I hide quietly in the corner, ready to ambush the rabbit, which is automatically delivered to the door. However, after a long time, there was no sign of the rabbit. I listen carefully from time to time. There is no active attack from the rabbit. Are rabbits getting smarter now? I won't be the stupid farmer in the fable, will I? No, it seems that the tactic of waiting for the hare is a bit out of date. We must take the initiative to fight for the preemptive. But as soon as I stepped out of the door, my sister grabbed me. It's a tragedy. If it doesn't work out, it will still fall into the old trap of "leading the snake out of the hole" by the rabbit, which will inevitably be repaired severely.
At the end of the battle, the snake and the rabbit made up their minds and exchanged operational experience with each other. My sister told me that as long as I waited a little longer, she would rush into my ambush. Now I finally understand that patience is as important as courage.
