家乡的变化

听外公说我们的家乡在许多年前很破旧，人们住的都是矮小的旧瓦房，缺衣少食，街道马路都是沙石铺的，走起来灰尘滚滚，要想游玩休闲没有一个好地方。

It's said by grandpa that our hometown was very shabby many years ago. People lived in small old tiled houses, which were short of food and clothes. The streets and roads were paved with sand and stones. There was no good place for leisure.

可是现在呢？家乡起了翻天覆地的大变化。你看家乡处处都是高楼大厦，人们也丰衣足食了，街道处处都是宽广的水泥柏油马路，人行道上绿树成荫，花池里鲜花恕放，超市里吃的、用的、穿的什么都有，任你挑选。休闲广场四面八方都有，南边有文化广场、北边有羊城广场、东边有河滨广场、西边有体育广场，还有公园和街心体育广场，早晨晚上都可以在那里乘凉、翩翩起舞、锻炼身体，家乡的变化真大。

But now? Great changes have taken place in my hometown. You can see that there are high-rise buildings everywhere in your hometown, and people are well fed. The streets are full of broad concrete and asphalt roads. There are trees on the sidewalk. Flowers in the flower pool are not allowed to be put. You can choose whatever you eat, use or wear in the supermarket. There are leisure squares in all directions, including cultural square in the south, Yangcheng square in the north, Riverside square in the East, Sports Square in the west, park and Street Sports Square, where you can enjoy the cool, dance and exercise in the morning and evening. The change of hometown is really great.
