仙人掌

在许许多多的花草树木中，我最喜欢仙人掌。

I like cacti best among many flowers, plants and trees.

有一次，放寒假了。一天，妈妈带我去云台花园游玩。我们来到玻璃馆里，有好多仙人掌都不怕外面的冷气，它们迎风开放。我想：难道仙人掌不怕冷吗，仙人掌为什么不怕冷？

Once, it was winter vacation. One day, my mother took me to visit Yuntai garden. When we came to the glass house, there were many cacti who were not afraid of the air conditioner outside. They opened to the wind. I thought: is cactus not afraid of cold? Why is cactus not afraid of cold?

仙人掌不怕沙漠。一天中午，我正中津津有味地看着电视《喜羊羊与灰太狼》里的古古怪怪大战第51集。只见黑大帅和灰太狼在沙漠里大战，在看电视的我发现了仙人掌，我说：“仙人掌为什么会在沙漠里？”最后我才知道，因为是为了保护鸵鸟。

Cacti are not afraid of desert. At noon one day, I was watching episode 51 of the strange war of the ancients on TV. I saw black marshal and grey wolf fighting in the desert. Watching TV, I found cacti. I said, "Why are cacti in the desert?" In the end, I learned that it was to protect ostriches.

仙人掌还是一种药品。去年我看了一本书，书上说，如果谁得了腮腺炎，可以将仙人掌弄碎敷上，过几天就好了。

Cactus is also a medicine. Last year, I read a book which said that if anyone has mumps, they can smash the cactus and apply it. It will be good in a few days.

我想：在世界上仙人掌要是多一些。因为仙人掌是药，要是处处的仙人掌都很多话，那我该多高兴啊！

I think: more cacti in the world. Because cacti are medicine, if there are many cacti everywhere, how happy I am!
