我的家乡--西洪

我的家乡是一个美丽富饶的村庄－－西洪。

My hometown is a beautiful and rich village Xihong.

在西洪村的村道入口处，立了一块刻着“西洪”两个大字的石碑，石碑上还蹲着一头威武的大石狮。公共汽车来来往往地行驶在平坦的水泥村道上。

At the entrance of the village road of Xihong village, a stone tablet with two characters of "Xihong" was erected. On the stone tablet, there was a powerful big stone lion. The bus came and went on the flat concrete village road.

有一条小河穿过了整个西洪村。河水慢慢地流动，清澈见底的河水里，那调皮的小鱼在自由自在地玩耍着，嬉戏着。

There is a small river across the whole Xihong village. The river flows slowly. In the limpid river, the naughty fish are playing freely.

每到秋季，一眼望不到边的稻子成熟了，黄澄澄地像铺了一地金子。一位位农民伯伯在用心地收割着自己辛辛苦苦种植出来的稻谷，心里还乐滋滋地想着：真希望年年都有好收成呀！

Every autumn, the rice that can't be seen is ripe, and the yellow ground looks like a field of gold. A farmer uncle is carefully harvesting his hard-earned rice. He is still thinking happily: I wish there would be a good harvest every year!

每到农历节日的晚上，当你来到村庄广场，就会看到人山人海的景象。有老人，有小孩，还有中年女；他们有的站着，有的坐着，还有的蹲着。大人们在台下乐呵呵地看戏，而小孩则在旁边三五成群地玩闹。

On the evening of the Lunar Festival, when you come to the village square, you will see a sea of people. There are old people, children and middle-aged women; some of them are standing, some are sitting and some are squatting. Adults enjoy watching the theatre under the stage, while children play in groups.

西洪因生产米粉而闻名。每当阳光普照的日子里，广阔的田野上总会出现一排排又整齐又洁白的米粉。这又给美丽的西洪增加了一道亮丽的风景。

Xihong is famous for producing rice flour. Every sunny day, there are always rows of neat and white rice noodles in the vast field. This adds a beautiful scenery to the beautiful Xihong.
