My View on Film Quality Deterioration 电影质量恶化之我见

It is very hard for us today to find films as excitingas they were in the past. Famous films from 1950s like “Heroic Son andDaughter” and “Dong Cunrui,” seem a thing of the past. But their heroic imagesstill appear vividly in our minds. Now many people are unwilling to go to thecinema, claiming that it is a “torture” to see a so-called modern film.

现在，我们很难找到像过去那样令人激动的电影了。20世纪50年代像《英雄儿女》和《董存瑞》这样著名的电影似乎成为了过去。但是他们的英雄形象仍然生动的浮现在我们的脑海中。现在，很多人不愿意去电影院，声称看这种所谓的现代电影简直是一种折磨。

As we know, the function of art and literature is toconvey people’s thoughts and ideas, to improve people’s spiritual lives andgive them the pleasure of entertainment. But to our disappointment, some“fashionable” films today contain nothing but explicit sexual description,extramarital affairs, and even blood and violence.

我们都知道，艺术和文学的功能是传达人们的思想和想法，改善人们的精神生活，给他们享受的乐趣。但令人失望的是，一些”时髦“的电影除了具体的性描写，婚外情甚至是血腥暴力之外没有一点内涵。

Some playwrights and film directors seldom plungethemselves into real life to seek creative motivation and inspiration. Instead,they just fabricate their plots and characters based on their one-sided andignorant understanding of life.

有些编剧和电影导演很少投身现实生活中去寻找创作动机和灵感。相反，他们只是根据自己对生活的片面和无知的理解去编造故事情节和人物特征。

Personally, it is clear that such films can leadpeople nowhere, but corrupt their minds and weaken their morals.

就我个人而言，这样的电影显然不仅会导致人们裹足不前，也腐蚀着他们的头脑，削弱他们的道德。
