虚惊一场

到了我们这个年龄都要经过掉牙换牙的。

At our age, we have to go through tooth replacement.

我发现我有一个牙齿松动了，妈妈说带我到医院里拔掉，防止不小心掉到肚子里。听说要拔牙，我的头摇得像拨浪鼓似的不肯去。

I found that one of my teeth was loose. My mother said that she would take me to the hospital to pull it out to prevent it from accidentally falling into my stomach. I heard that my head would not go like a rattle when I was about to have my teeth pulled out.

没过几天，我正在喝开水，感觉有什么东西咽到肚子里。这时我发现那颗松动的牙齿不在了。听妈妈说牙齿掉到肚子里要开刀的，我后悔没有到医院里拔掉那颗该死的牙齿。现在害得我要去医院里去开刀才能取出来。

A few days later, I was drinking boiled water and I felt something swallowed. Then I found that the loose tooth was gone. Listen to my mother said that the tooth fell into my stomach to be cut. I regret that I didn't pull out the damn tooth in the hospital. Now I have to go to the hospital to get it out.

我就这样在忐忑不安的心情下等着去挨刀。可是都过去一个多星期，我的身体没有出现任何的不舒服。
