小乌龟真棒

我家有两只小乌龟很听话，我觉得它好棒，我很喜欢它。

There are two little tortoises in my family who are obedient. I think they are very good. I like them very much.

刚买回来的时侯，他们不熟悉新环境，很害怕，就一直把头缩进壳里。过了几天就适应了这种环境。

When they first bought it, they were not familiar with the new environment and were very afraid, so they kept their heads in the shell. It took a few days to get used to the environment.

又一次，我用手在他眼前晃来晃去，可它一点也不害怕，反而把头伸得更长了好想要看清楚那是什么。

Once again, I used my hand to sway in front of his eyes, but he was not afraid at all, but he stretched his head longer to see what it was.

有时，我把它们放进水里喂食时，它一直看着我的手，我把食丢进去的时候，他们都冲过来抢食，样子可爱极了！

Sometimes, when I put them into the water for feeding, they always look at my hand. When I throw them in, they all rush to grab food. They look lovely!

还有一次，我从它头后面，慢慢向前摸她的头，它缩了一半又停下来了，因为她已经适应了。

Another time, I felt her head slowly forward from behind it. It shrank in half and stopped because she had adapted.

昨天，我让他们出来赛跑，它们向一个方向爬去，我想看看它们向上爬怎么样。然后我故意把一个箱子放在墙角。一只大乌龟都爬得竖起来，但是没爬上去，另一只小乌龟把头和身子缩在壳里，一动不动，我正在纳闷呢！这是怎么回事？只见大乌龟前脚踩在小乌龟的背上，后脚也开始向上爬，眼看就要爬上了，可谁知他脚下一滑又摔下来了，就这样反复爬了好几次，最后终于成功的爬上来了。

Yesterday, I asked them to come out for a race. They climbed in one direction. I wanted to see how they climbed up. Then I purposely put a box in the corner. One big tortoise all climbed up, but did not climb up, the other small tortoise head and body shrink in the shell, motionless, I am wondering! What's going on? I saw the big tortoise step on the back of the little tortoise in front of his feet, and then his back feet began to climb up. He was about to climb up, but he slipped and fell down under his feet. He climbed several times and finally managed to climb up.

我觉得我的小乌龟是动物里面最棒的！

I think my little turtle is the best of the animals!
