我家的老母鸡

我奶奶养了2只老母鸡，生的蛋全归我吃。

My grandmother raised two old hens and I ate all the eggs she laid.

老母鸡穿着五彩缤纷的衣服，漂亮极了。走起路来一摇一摆，真好看。

The old hen is very beautiful in her colorful clothes. It's nice to walk and shake.

它生蛋时，“咯嗒咯嗒”叫得很紧，我猜想，它一定很痛。生好蛋后，它又不停地叫，似乎提醒我们可去捡蛋了。

When it lays its eggs, "rattle" cries very hard. I guess it must be very painful. After laying the eggs, it kept barking again and again, as if to remind us to pick up the eggs.

蛋生下来后，要是不及时去捡起来，就会被可恶的老鼠偷吃了，这些老鼠还常常偷吃母鸡的食物。我很恨这些老鼠。每当老鼠来偷蛋时，老母鸡就扑楞着翅膀，“咯咯”地叫个不停，好像在向我们报告“敌情”，这时，奶奶就会急冲冲地赶过去，把老鼠赶跑。

After the eggs are born, if they are not picked up in time, they will be eaten by hateful rats, who often eat the hen's food. I hate these mice. Whenever the mouse came to steal the egg, the old hen flapped her wings and cackled, as if to report the "enemy situation" to us. At this time, grandma would rush to chase the mouse away.

有一天，其中的一只老母鸡突然不吃也不喝，懒洋洋地一点精神都没有，我们心里很着急。几天后，老母鸡耷拉着脑袋，样子很是悲惨。奶奶说：“这只鸡病得不轻，怕是好不起来了，还是趁早杀掉。”

One day, one of the old hens suddenly refused to eat or drink, and there was no spirit at all. We were very worried. A few days later, the old hen looked miserable with her head down. Grandma said, "this chicken is very sick. I'm afraid it will not get better. I'd better kill it as soon as possible."

剖开老母鸡后，发现喉咙里卡着一块泡泡糖的橡皮泥。原来是有人吃完泡泡糖后，将橡皮泥丢在我家天井里，老母鸡还以为是美味食品，一口吃了下去，白白送了命。

When the old hen was cut open, she found a piece of gum in her throat. It turns out that someone left the plasticine in my patio after eating the bubble gum. The old hen thought it was delicious food and ate it. She died in vain.

现在我家只剩一只老母鸡了。每当想起那只无故死亡的老母鸡，我十分伤心。

Now there is only one old hen left in my family. Whenever I think of the old hen who died without any reason, I am very sad.
