玩虫子

吃过晚饭，我和哥哥觉得很无聊，绞尽脑汁想找点事来做。

After dinner, my brother and I felt bored and racked our brains to find something to do.

突然，我们在院子的墙角边发现了一只虫子。这只虫子长得细长细长的，身子的两边长了许许多多的脚，我和哥哥叫它“多脚虫”。它在那里寂寞地爬来爬去，好像也很无聊，我们就想逗它玩。

Suddenly, we found a bug in the corner of the yard. This insect is long and slender, with many feet on both sides of the body. My brother and I call it "multi legged insect". It's lonely crawling around there. It seems boring. We just want to play with it.

哥哥捡起一根小树枝挡住了它的去路，不料，多脚虫灵活地爬上了小树枝，直往哥哥的手上爬，吓得哥哥急忙把树枝扔了。我在一旁看见了，笑得合不拢嘴。哥哥又拿起一块红色的多孔砖，把洞对准虫子，“嘭”的一声放了下去，我默默地猜测：多脚虫不是被压死了，就是被震死了。我带着疑问飞快地拿起砖头一看：哎呀!虫子果然死了。不过，我还是有点不相信，又拿起小树枝去戳它的背，小树枝还没有碰到它的背，小虫子就飞快地爬了起来——原来它是在装死，它可真狡猾啊！

My brother picked up a twig and blocked its way. Unexpectedly, the multi legged insect climbed on the twig flexibly and climbed straight to my brother's hand, which scared him to throw the twig away in a hurry. I saw it on the side, and I couldn't close my mouth. My brother picked up another red porous brick, pointed the hole at the insect, and let it go with a bang. I silently guessed that the multi legged insect was either crushed or shocked to death. I quickly picked up the brick with doubts and looked at it: ah! The insect is dead indeed. However, I still don't believe it. I picked up the twig and poked at its back. Before the twig touched its back, the insect quickly climbed up - it was pretending to be dead. How cunning it was!

眼看它就要爬走了，哥哥又拿起砖头把她关进了砖洞里。我们看见陷入困境的多脚虫急得团团转，这这让我们觉得很有趣。正当我们在想它如何摆脱困境时，虫子竟然凭借它的身体优势从那个又深又黑的小洞里爬了出来，这只虫子可真了不起呀！

Seeing that it was about to climb away, my brother picked up the brick and locked her in the hole. It's interesting for us to see the multi legged insect in trouble whirling around in a hurry. Just as we were thinking about how to get rid of the predicament, the insect crawled out of the deep and black hole by virtue of its physical advantages. What a marvelous insect!

不知不觉天就黑了，我们该回家了，多脚虫也该回家了。

It's dark before we know it. It's time for us to go home. It's time for the multi legged insect to go home.
