一件后悔的事

想起那件事我就觉得后悔，那件事时常在我脑海里浮现出来。

I feel regret when I think about it. It often comes to my mind.

那是一个晴朗的早晨，我高兴地上了公交车，准备去外婆家玩。当车要启动时，上来了一位老奶奶。她满头白发，脸上满是皱纹，身体也不是特别健康，因为她已经要拄着拐杖了，她这样老了，肩上还背着一个大包袱。

It was a fine morning. I got on the bus happily and was ready to go to grandma's house. When the car was about to start, an old woman came up. She has white hair, wrinkles on her face, and is not particularly healthy, because she is on crutches. She is so old and has a big burden on her shoulder.

她上来之后，车上已经没有一个空位了。她刚站稳，车就开动了，她站在车中间随着车的颠簸，她也摇摇摆摆的，站不稳了。从她刚上来，我的心里就一直在挣扎。

After she got up, there was no vacancy in the car. As soon as she stood steady, the car started to move. She stood in the middle of the car and was unsteady with the bumps of the car. My heart has been struggling since she came up.

正在这时，旁边有一位小女孩站起来说：“老奶奶，您坐我的座位吧！”这是年纪看起来比我还小的小朋友。

“小朋友，你真懂事啊！我不坐，你坐吧！”

"Little friend, you are so sensible! I don't sit, you sit! "

“你坐，你坐，我没事。……”小朋友一直坚持着，老奶奶才坐下。

"You sit, you sit, I'm fine..." The children kept on, and the old lady sat down.

看到这些，我的心也不挣扎了。因为本来老奶奶离我的位子很近，她刚上来，我就想要不要让座，可是我的屁股像被粘住了一样，就是站不起来。但是看到老奶奶年纪这么大，不要说要拄着拐杖才能站稳，她还背着一个这么沉重的包，多累啊！就在我决定不下时，小女孩已经让座了。

Seeing this, my heart will not struggle. Because the old granny was very close to my seat. As soon as she came up, I wanted to give up my seat. But my butt seemed to be stuck, but I couldn't stand up. But see old granny so old, don't say to be able to stand on crutches, she is still carrying such a heavy bag, how tired! Just when I couldn't decide, the little girl gave up her seat.

跟小女孩相比，我觉得自己真是太自私了。

Compared with the little girl, I think I'm too selfish.

到了外婆家，我一直高兴不起来，想想这件事，我就觉得自己太不应该了，心里非常后悔。

When I arrived at my grandmother's house, I was not happy. Thinking about it, I felt that I was too wrong and regretted it.

我想：如果以后还有机会的话，我一定不再会像今天一样，我会毫不犹豫地把座位让给老奶奶，让给需要帮助的人。

I think: if there is a chance in the future, I will no longer like today, I will not hesitate to give my seat to grandma, to people in need of help.
