做一天的小保姆

7月9号，妈妈带我到外婆家去度暑假，小舅妈交给我一项任务——做一天的小保姆，就是照看小舅妈的女儿、我三岁的小妹妹。我以为三岁的小妹妹很好照看，没想到3岁的小孩这么难哄，她一会儿让我抱她去猪舍看小猪，一会儿让我抱她去看小鸡，我被她弄得筋疲力尽。

On July 9, my mother took me to my grandmother's house for the summer vacation. My aunt gave me a task to be a baby sitter for one day, that is, to look after my aunt's daughter and my three-year-old sister. I thought the three-year-old sister was very good to look after, but I didn't expect the three-year-old child to be so difficult to coax. She asked me to take her to the pigsty to see the pig, and asked me to take her to the chicken. I was exhausted by her.

到了吃中饭的时候，小舅妈喂她吃饭，她坚决不肯吃，一定要到猪舍里去看小猪后才肯吃饭。吃完饭后，她看见猪在喝水，她就说：“我要喝水。” 小舅妈连忙抱她到家里去喝水，她却说：“我要到猪在喝水过的地方上喝水”。小舅妈说：“猪在喝水过的地方很脏，不能喝水的，到家里去喝水吧!”小妹妹大哭大闹，怎么哄也哄不好，于是我讲故事、唱歌给她听，还将自己新买的玩具送给她，她才平静下来。

我感觉照看一个3岁的小妹妹好辛苦啊!我想到了爷爷奶奶爸爸妈妈把养这么大，肯定也很辛苦。我要努力学习，做个有出息的人，长大报答长辈的养育之恩。

I think it's hard to look after a 3-year-old sister. I think it must be hard for my grandparents and parents to raise such a big sister. I want to study hard, be a promising person, and grow up to repay the kindness of the elders.
