一件好事

中国有句古话：勿以恶小而为之，勿以善小而不为。

There is an old saying in China: don't do evil when it is small, and don't do good when it is small.

二年级，我做过一件小小的好事。

In second grade, I did a little good thing.

一天早晨，我很早就来到了学校，走进教室，看见桌椅乱七八糟，心想：这是怎么回事？同学们这可怎么上课？这么乱，我们班的红旗又要飘走了。不行，我要把它们摆放整齐。

One morning, I came to the school early, walked into the classroom, saw the desks and chairs in a mess, thought: what's the matter? How can I have a class? In such a mess, the red flag of our class will float away again. No, I'll put them in order.

我放下书包，说干就干，我走到前排，把一张桌椅摆好，以这个桌子为标准，把其它的桌椅摆好，纵看一条线，横看一条线，象解放军的队伍，整整齐齐。我累得满头大汗，看见整齐的教室，我高兴极了。

I put down my schoolbag and did what I said. I went to the front row and put a table and chair in place. I took this table as the standard and put other tables and chairs in place. I looked at a line vertically and a line horizontally. It was like the PLA team. It was neat. I was so tired and sweaty that I was so happy to see the tidy classroom.

这是一件小事，可是它却让我感到快乐，因为整齐的教室能让同学们更好地学习。

This is a small thing, but it makes me feel happy, because the tidy classroom can make students study better.
