喝了聪明液以后

一个星期天的中午，小方在家看电视。电视里有一则广告：喝了聪明液，学习不用愁。

One Sunday noon, Xiao Fang was watching TV at home. There is an advertisement on TV: drink smart liquid, and don't worry about learning.

小方心想：妈妈整天责怪我的成绩不好，要是买到一瓶聪明液那该多好啊！他就缠着妈妈给他买了一，立刻喝完了，就去踢足球。

Xiaofang thought: my mother blames me for my poor performance all day long. If only I could buy a bottle of smart liquid! He pesters his mother to buy him one, drinks it immediately, and plays football.

他正在足球时，好朋友小明过来了。看到小方说：“明天就要考试了，你怎么不复习功课呢？”

He was playing football when his good friend Xiao Ming came. See Xiaofang said: "tomorrow is the exam, why don't you review your lessons?"

“小明，你不用管我，我有聪明液，喝了就会让我变聪明，不用担心的。”小方说完，继续足球。

"Xiaoming, you don't have to worry about me. I have smart liquid. Drinking it will make me smart. Don't worry about it." Xiao Fang finished, and continued to play football.

后来，考试结束了，小明考了100分，而小方却只考取了50分。

Later, when the exam was over, Xiao Ming scored 100, while Xiao Fang scored only 50.

我明白了：只喝聪明液，如果学习不努力，是不会取得好成绩的。

I've learned that if you only drink smart liquid, you won't get good grades if you don't study hard.
