星期四的下午，爸爸回家以后发现我没有在背诗，他非常生气，爸爸就要打我，可是妈妈没有让爸爸打我，爸爸大声地说：“你怎么不背诗呢？”我感觉爸爸像一只大狮子，我很害怕，我心想我以后要好好学习，做一个懂事的好孩子，再不让爸爸妈妈生气了。

On Thursday afternoon, my father came home and found that I was not reciting poems. He was very angry. My father would hit me, but my mother didn't let my father hit me. My father said loudly, "why don't you recite poems?" I feel my father is like a lion. I'm afraid. I think I'll study hard and be a good and sensible child in the future. I won't let my father and mother get angry again.
