挨打

星期四的下午，爸爸回家以后发现我没有在背诗，他非常生气，爸爸就要打我，可是妈妈没有让爸爸打我，爸爸大声地说：“你怎么不背诗呢？”我感觉爸爸像一只大狮子，我很害怕，我心想我以后要好好学习，做一个懂事的好孩子，再不让爸爸妈妈生气了。

On Thursday afternoon, my father came home and found that I was not reciting poems. He was very angry. My father would hit me, but my mother didn't let my father hit me.
