一年之后

春天来了，小树发芽了。头发稀疏、身体胖胖的爸爸手里拿着锤子，嘴里叼着钉子，领着头发蓬松，长的瘦瘦小小的儿子来到树前量身高。爸爸让儿子背靠在小树前面，把锤子横在儿子头顶直戳在树上。他给儿子量好身高后让儿子闪开，自己吃力地蹲下在树上钉好钉子。然后父子俩高高兴兴地离开了。

Spring is coming, and small trees are sprouting. The father, with thin hair and fat body, holds a hammer in his hand and a nail in his mouth. He leads his son, who is thin and long, to the tree to measure his height. The father asked his son to lean back in front of the small tree and poke the hammer across his head on the tree. He measured his son 's height and let him get out of the way. Then the father and son left happily.

冬天下雪了，爸爸和儿子在小树旁边堆了一个大雪人。

It snowed in winter. My father and my son made a big snowman beside the small tree.

转眼又一年的春天到了，爸爸还是手拿锤子，用口叼钉子来到小树旁边。他想看看儿子这一年长高了多少。爸爸再次让儿子站在小树前面，结果钉子跑到儿子头顶上去了。儿子觉得非常奇怪，而爸爸则笑了，说：“原来小树长得比你快啊！”
