《老友记》创作者道歉：不该缺乏种族多样性……

据美媒Enews报道，近日经典美剧《老友记》联合主创玛塔·考夫曼因剧集缺乏种族多元性而致歉。

Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman recently apologized for the lack of diversity on the long-running sitcom.

当地时间6月8日，在ATX电视节举行的一场线上女性对话论坛中，考夫曼表示，她希望当初自己可以知道现在所知道的，那样她会做出不一样的决定。

"I just wish I knew then what I know now. I would've made very different decisions," she said.

考夫曼称，她在公司里一直鼓励雇佣不同种族的员工，但她觉得自己还做得不够，如今她也会时时反思。

Kauffman added during the 2020 ATX TV Festival: "I mean we've always encouraged people of diversity in our company, but I didn't do enough and now all I can think about is, what can I do? What can I do differently? How can I run my show in a new way? That's something I wish I knew when I started showrunning."

《老友记》是一部经典的美国电视情景喜剧，由大卫·克莱恩和玛塔·考夫曼共同创作，从1994年到2004年，共播出了10季。

据BBC报道，近年来《老友记》因缺乏多样性而受到批评。

Despite its success, Friends has been criticised in recent years for its lack of diversity, even by its cast members.

今年早些时候，饰演主角罗斯的演员大卫·修蒙在接受采访时提议进行更多元化的重新制作。

他说，也许可以再翻拍一部全黑人或全亚洲人的《老友记》。

In an interview earlier this year, David Schwimmer - who played Ross in the sitcom - proposed a more diverse remake. "Maybe there should be an all-black Friends or an all-Asian Friends," he said.

他说自己意识到了该剧存在缺乏多元化的问题，也曾争取让自己饰演的角色和有色人种女性约会。

他强调，能够为罗斯在剧中加入亚裔女性和非裔女性约会对象，是自己有意推动的，这也是该剧不断进步的体现。

"But I was well aware of the lack of diversity and I campaigned for years to have Ross date women of colour," he said. "One of the first girlfriends I had on the show was an Asian American woman, and later I dated African American women. That was a very conscious push on my part."

而近期，剧中角色菲比的饰演者丽莎·库卓在接受采访时表示，如果当下重拍《老友记》，肯定不会是全白人阵容。

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe, was recently asked what a modern-day reboot of Friends would look like and told The Sunday Times: "Well, it would not be an all-white cast, for sure."

但她也承认，该剧有时代特征，“对我而言，这部剧应该被看作是时间胶囊，而不应苛责它做错了什么。”

However she added that the show was of its time: "I'm not sure what else, but to me, it should be looked at as a time capsule, not for what they did wrong."
