庆祝国庆

十月一日是我们的国庆节。在我很小的时候，妈妈就对我说过，在每年的这个日子，每一位中国人都要来庆祝这个节日。以前我还小，还不能理解“庆祝”的含义，但是现在我已经是二年级的学生了，当我看到报纸上、电视里播放的在国外的中国人庆祝的画面，我的心里就很冲动，也很想表达我自己的心情，可是我不知道能够用什么样的方式。我问妈妈为什么海盐没有象别的地方一样，挂着满街的灯笼，还有表演，妈妈对我说，我们每个人都可以有自己庆祝国庆的方式，只要能够表达自己的心意就行了。同学们，你们知道后来我是怎么庆祝国庆节的吗？

Before I was young, I could not understand the meaning of "celebration", but now I am a second grade student. 我和妈妈找了红色和黄色的布头，亲手做了一面国旗，就放在我的房间里，每天清晨我睁开眼睛，第一眼就能看到它。现在我知道了，不是说一定要用声声锣鼓表达爱国热情，只要在我的心里充满了对祖国的热爱，那也是我对祖国节日的庆祝。

My mother and I found red and yellow cloth, made a national flag by ourselves, and put it in my room. Every morning, I open my eyes and see it at the first sight. Now I know that it's not necessary to express patriotic enthusiasm with gongs and drums. As long as my heart is full of love for the motherland, it's also my celebration of the motherland Festival.
