论功夫不负有心人

从古至今，人们就知道下了功夫做任何一件事情就一定会得到成功。

唐代李白小时候是个读书不认真贪玩的孩子，有一天，李白看见一位老太太坐在家门口手拿一根很粗的铁棒认认真真在磨，李白感到很稀奇，便问老太太，磨铁棒干什么？老太太说：“我要用这根铁棒磨成针”，李白笑着说：“这么粗的铁棒哪年哪月才能磨成针呢”？老太太笑着说：“滴水穿石，只要功夫深，铁棒就能磨成针”。李白听了老太太的话，明白了一个道理，只要下功夫，做任何事情都能成功。从那以后李白发奋读书终于成了一位伟大的诗人。

还有我国伟大的数学家华罗庚，一个只读了小学的学生，他刻苦学习年复一年，论证数学公式，写过的草稿纸堆积如山，功夫不负有心人，终于成了闻名于世的数学家。
