蝈蝈历险记

我被窗台上拳头大小的笼子关住了，我是一只翠绿色的蝈蝈，我十分不安，不愿待在里面，两根又细又长的触须不时伸出笼子外，摇晃了几下，我在呼唤自由，呼唤来解放我的人。

I was closed by a fist sized cage on the windowsill. I was a green one. I was very uneasy. I didn't want to stay in it. Two long and thin tentacles stretched out of the cage from time to time and shook a few times. I was calling for freedom and people to liberate me.

“怪了，它怎么不怎叫呢？买的时候还叫得起劲，真怪了……”一位白发老人凑进关我的笼子看了半天，嘴里还在自言自语着什么。

"Strange, why doesn't it call it? When I bought it, I screamed hard. It's strange... " A white haired old man came into my cage and looked for a long time. He was still talking to himself.

两个小孩子好像对我很好奇，也趴在窗台上看我。

The two children seemed to be curious about me, and they were lying on the windowsill looking at me.

“它不肯叫，准是怕生。”小女孩说。

"He won't call. He must be afraid of life." Said the little girl.

“把他关在笼子里，它生气呢！”

"Keep him in a cage. He's angry!"

我心里又好像有些欣慰，终于有人站在我的角度思考了，不过我还是出不去，唉……要是我能回家该有多好。

I feel a little relieved again. At last, someone thinks from my point of view, but I still can't go out. Alas If only I could go home.

小男孩突然伸手摘我的笼子，我知道他想要放我，心里呯！呯！直跳，早已准备了“百米冲刺”的姿势。

The little boy suddenly reached out to pick my cage. I knew he wanted to let me go! Oh! Straight jump, already ready to "100 meters sprint" posture.

“小囡家，别瞎说！”老人又把我的笼子移到了高处，我的信心彻底破灭了，为什么老人的心这么狠呢？老人又说：“别着急，它一定会叫的！”

"Little girl, don't talk nonsense!" The old man moved my cage to a higher place, and my confidence was completely destroyed. Why is the old man so cruel? The old man said, "don't worry, it will certainly shout!"

我心思，我决不会叫的，如要叫也是半夜叫。那一天，我没有动，只是在幻想外面的世界。

In my mind, I will never cry. If I do, I will cry in the middle of the night. That day, I did not move, just in the fantasy outside the world.

第二天，老人喂我吃了一种红红的东西，不过那东西可不好吃，真辣！辣得我差点喘不过气儿来了。

The next day, the old man fed me a kind of red food, but it was not delicious. It was really spicy! It's so hot that I can hardly breathe.

到了晚上，他们都入睡了，不管我了，心里不免有些寂寞，便用鸣叫声抗议，老人和孩子起来了，老人十分得意，那两个孩子十分高兴，把床板弄得咚咚直响。

In the evening, they all fell asleep. No matter I was gone, I felt a little lonely in my heart, so they protested with a honk. The old man and the children got up. The old man was very proud. The two children were very happy and made the bed board thump.

我只能让鸣叫声陪伴我，一直没有停下来……在一个晚上，一个男人说：“烦死了，真拿它没办法！”我想，你放走我不就安静了吗？你们为什么不呢？

I can only let the chirp accompany me, never stop One night, a man said, "I'm so tired of it. I can't help it!" I think it's quiet if you let me go? Why don't you?

“爸爸，蝈蝈为什么不停地叫呢？”

"Dad, why do you keep shouting?"

回答他的只有沉默，他便和女孩自己回答了。

The only way to answer him was silence, so he and the girl answered by themselves.

“他大概热得睡不着，所以叫！”

"He was probably too hot to sleep, so he cried!"

“不！他是在哭呢！关在笼子里多难受，它在哭呢！”

"No! He's crying! It's hard to be in a cage. It's crying! "

我的心在哭，我想要自由，为什么只有小孩子才了解我呢？

My heart is crying, I want to be free, why only children understand me?

过了一下，老人过来了，他拿起一把锋利的剪刀剪开了笼子，我便跳出了屋了，回到了草坪上，过着自由的生活。

After a while, the old man came. He picked up a sharp pair of scissors and cut open the cage. Then I jumped out of the house and went back to the lawn to live a free life.
