Hello!

我是嘉儿，就读于广东省东莞市洪梅镇中心小学。我现在已经11岁了，读五年级了。我喜欢读书，是个颇有语言天份的女孩。我们的学校有许多体育器材，如羽毛球，单杠等等。下课时，操场上可热闹了！我们的教室宽敞、明亮；学校还有图书馆、电脑室等多媒体教室，我们就在这美丽的校园中茁壮成长。

My name is Jiaer. I study in Hongmei Town Central Primary School, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. I'm 11 now. I'm in fifth grade. I like reading. I'm a girl with a talent for language. Our school has many sports equipment, such as badminton, horizontal bar and so on. When class is over, the playground is busy! Our classroom is spacious and bright; the school also has the library, computer room and other multimedia classrooms, and we thrive in this beautiful campus.

可能你对我的来信感到惊讶，因为你还不认识我，可我对你已经有了一些了解。我知道，因为你家收入微薄，所以你被迫辍学。据了解，你在学校表现十分出色，学习认真。当我们知道你12岁，才读一年级的时候，我们都惊呆了。因为种种原因，令你错失了学习机会。你们的学习环境恶劣，比起我们教学环境优越，我十分难过。我们吃得好，住得好，而你住的却是泥砖屋；我们有许多玩具，而你却连学费也交不起，我心里很不是滋味。

Maybe you are surprised by my letter, because you don't know me yet, but I already know something about you. I know that you are forced to drop out of school because of your poor income. It is understood that you have done very well in school and studied hard. When we knew you were 12 years old and only in the first grade, we were shocked. For various reasons, you have missed the opportunity to study. Your study environment is bad. Compared with our teaching environment, I am very sad. We eat well and live well, but you live in a mud brick house; we have many toys, but you can't even pay the tuition, and I'm very upset.
