开卷有益

开卷有益，“卷”即书籍和报刊，就是读书看报必获益处的意思。对此，我深有体会。记得去年暑假，在黄冈师院主办的补习班上，老师教我们讨论关于美伊战争问题。如果你读了有关美伊战争的书，你就会轻而易举、信手拈来地应用书上获取的知识和见解，发表自己的看法。如果你没有阅读这方面的书刊或资讯报道，你就会像个傻子一样，什么也不懂。在那次讨论会上，由于比较关注美伊战争的我看了不少有关书刊，因而言之成理，论之有据，得到了老师的夸奖。

It is beneficial to open a book. "Volume" means books and newspapers. It means that reading books and newspapers will benefit. I have a deep understanding of this. I remember last summer, in the tutor class sponsored by Huanggang teachers' College, the teacher taught us to discuss the war between the United States and Iraq. If you read about the war between the United States and Iraq, you will easily and easily apply the knowledge and opinions gained in the book to express your opinions. If you don't read books, magazines or news reports in this field, you will be like a fool and know nothing. At that seminar, I read a lot of books and magazines concerned about the war between the United States and Iraq, so I made a point and got praise from my teachers.

再有一次，我无意中发现了一本关于数学知识的书，遂颇感兴趣地认真阅读一遍。过了几天，适逢考试，在试卷上恰好有一道我曾在书上读过的题，于是我就轻轻松松地做完了它。结果，全班只有三个人做对了这道题，我就是其中一个。这又算是尝到了“开卷”之“益”吧？还有一回，上课时，老师突然问我们：“湖北的省会在哪座城市？”嘿，有的人说是黄冈，有的人则说是宜昌，乱七八糟的，就是没有一个人“猜”对。我举起手，回答说是武汉。老师肯定了我的答案后，接着又问湖北的简称是什么？有的说是“鲁”，有的说是“湖”，牛头不对马嘴的乱说一气。胸有成竹的我，回答说是“鄂”。哈，又对了！这些都是我从《社会》书上“得”来的。我再一次尝到了读书之妙，开卷之益。

After a few days, just in time for the exam, there happened to be a question I had read in the book on the exam paper, so I finished it easily. As a result, there are only three people in the class who have done the problem right. I am one of them. Is this a taste of the "benefits" of "opening the volume"? Another time, in class, the teacher suddenly asked us, "which city is the provincial capital of Hubei?" Hey, some people say it's Huanggang, some people say it's Yichang. It's a mess. No one guesses right. I raised my hand and replied that it was Wuhan. After confirming my answer, the teacher then asked what is Hubei's abbreviation? Some say it's Lu, some say it's lake. The head of the Ox doesn't talk about the horse's mouth. I am confident enough to answer "e". Ha, that's right again! I got all these from society. Once again, I have tasted the beauty of reading and the benefit of opening a book.

此外，我印象较深的是，一次语文考试时，试卷上作文要求我们写一篇幻想作文。巧的是我头天晚上正好在本校自编的《作文集》上读了一篇幻想作文。于是，我借鉴《作文集》上的那篇作文的写作手法和套路，写了一篇题为《世界杯的战场上》的作文。结果，老师给了我一个高分。

In addition, I am deeply impressed that we are required to write a fantasy composition in a Chinese exam. It happened that I read a fantasy composition in the composition collection compiled by my school the night before. So I wrote a composition entitled "on the battlefield of the World Cup" with reference to the writing techniques and routines of that composition in the composition collection. As a result, the teacher gave me a high score.

最近，我喜欢上了《少年文艺》、《儿童文学》等刊物，只要有空，我就如饥似渴地阅读它们。不知不觉中，我发现：我的写作能力较之以前有了明显的提高。这更说明“开卷有益”此话不假、千真万确！

Recently, I like publications such as juvenile literature and children's literature. Whenever I have time, I read them hungrily. Unconsciously, I found that: my writing ability has improved significantly than before. This shows that it is true that opening a book is beneficial!

书是知识的载体，书是精神的食粮。开卷有益，只要不是对自己有害的坏书，而是对自己有益的好书，我们就应利用空余时间多读多看，广泛涉猎，从中体验书籍带给我们的莫大乐趣和无穷收益。

Book is the carrier of knowledge and the food of spirit. Opening a book is beneficial. As long as it is not a bad book that is harmful to us, but a good book that is beneficial to us, we should make use of our spare time to read and read more, and explore widely, so as to experience the great fun and infinite benefits brought by books.
