二十年后回故乡

离开家乡二十年了，谁不想念自己的家呢？身在异国他乡的我也不例外，十分想看一看重庆是否变样了。因此，我千里迢迢从美国飞回来了。

Twenty years since I left my hometown, who doesn't miss his home? I am no exception in a foreign country. I'd like to see if Chongqing has changed. So I flew all the way back from America.

在飞机上我寻思着，现在的重庆会是什么样的？嘉陵江和长江是变得肮脏了还是干净了？儿童时代的巴蜀园还在吗？周老师、李老师她们还好吗？一个个疑问牵挂着我的思乡之心，我真有些迫不及待了。

On the plane, I wonder what Chongqing will be like now? Are Jialing River and Yangtze River dirty or clean? Is the Bashu garden still in its childhood? How are Miss Zhou and Miss Li? I can't wait for questions about my homesickness.

终于回到重庆了。天哪！家乡的变化可真大：一幢幢气派而豪华的高楼挺拔地矗立在市区，一个个绿化、精致的中心花园数不胜数，长江、嘉陵江的水清澈见底，一群群鱼儿游戏水中。一座座美丽的大桥把市区连成一片，形成一个大重庆。天空已不再是二十年前灰蒙蒙的一片，呈现出清纯的宝石蓝，坐在翠绿的草坪上，望着干净、明亮的天空，给人一种静谧的感觉，静谧中透露出几分神秘。以前慢悠悠的轻轨早已换成超速的“子弹头”高级列车。重庆不仅生态环境变了，人也变了。讲文明、讲卫生的人多了，热心之人多了，栽花种树的人多了，戒烟、戒酒、戒赌的人多了，社会治安好多了。总之，重庆比以前更美丽了。回到巴蜀园，那儿增加了不少的现代建筑，但她依旧美丽，巴蜀的孩子依旧活泼可爱，巴蜀的老师依旧认真可亲。

Finally back to Chongqing. My God? The change of hometown is really great: tall buildings of style and luxury stand tall and upright in the urban area. There are countless green and exquisite central gardens. The water of the Yangtze River and Jialing River is clear and bottomless, and a group of fish play water. A beautiful bridge connects the urban area into a large Chongqing. The sky is no longer a gray one twenty years ago, showing pure sapphire blue. Sitting on the green lawn, looking at the clean and bright sky, it gives a sense of quiet, which reveals some mystery. Before, the slow light rail had already been replaced by the super bullet train. Chongqing has changed not only its ecological environment, but also its people. There are more civilized and hygienic people, more enthusiastic people, more people planting flowers and trees, more people quitting smoking, drinking and gambling, and much better social security. In a word, Chongqing is more beautiful than before. Back to Bashu garden, many modern buildings have been added, but she is still beautiful, the children of Bashu are still lively and lovely, and the teachers of Bashu are still serious and amiable.

回到重庆，如果不吃点重庆特产，就等于没到家乡一样。我走进一家当年驰名全国的火锅店，点了一份火锅，开开心心地吃起来，虽然很辣，但仍能找到当年的感觉。我还去了解放碑，好吃街还在，但比20年前要干净讲究多了，至少在这儿吃东西或逛商店感觉是一种享受。

Back to Chongqing, if you don't eat some Chongqing specialties, it's the same as not going to your hometown. I went into a well-known hotpot shop in the country, lit a hot pot, and ate it happily. Although it was very spicy, I could still find the feeling of that year. I also went to learn about putting steles. Yummy street is still there, but it's much cleaner than it was 20 years ago. At least it's a pleasure to eat here or go shopping.

重庆的变化还有很多很多，不胜枚举，我为家乡的惊人变化感到非常的骄傲和自豪。离开家乡那天，我依依不舍，此时此刻，我才深切体会到“露从今夜白，月是故乡明。”重庆，我会想你的。
